As my hand gently wafted down the silky beasts fur
I injested a feeling of togetherness that stirred
His growl rose in symphony every scratch of the ears
Such a magnificant killer, with a trail of tears
The beasts hide was thick, his patterns dark
An elusive con, he bows to no bark
A staring contest, as i look in his eyes
His expression disguised from any surprise
A hot draft in the air, an ear chrisply twitches
A bite from his fangs would undoubtedly cause stitches
As ive grown towards the beast, hes mirrored my actions
As myself and the beast serve the same faction
I realize as we frolic in sadness apart
I love my cat Oscar, with all of my heart
