Hi everyone!
I wanted to provide a place for you to respond to yesterday's amazing guest speaker. We all love Mr. Marcoux, and yesterday you saw another side of this beloved teacher. Please share what message from his talk that you will carry with you forever.
Warmly,
Mrs. Diamond
I cannot find the words to thank Mr. Marcoux for all he has done. He has done so much for me, our school, community, and country, yet he acts like he's just an ordinary guy. I am so glad i had the opportunity to listen to his speech and all of his lessons. Thank you Mr. Marcoux, you are the best!
ReplyDeleteHaving Mr. Marcoux talk in front of the class about all that he has been though with the war was incredible. I had him for Geometry and if he wouldn't have said that he is a veteran I would of never known. He is such a humble guy and I think that is what everyone loves about him. Having my questions answered was also really cool. We talked about this in class but how he said "I don't regret going to the war" was amazing. I think that quote stood out to me the most. Thank you so much Mr. Marcoux for everything you have done for this country.
ReplyDeleteas humbly as Mr. Marcoux spoke about his campaign in Vietnam, I truly respect the courage and honor he had to willingly serve in a war with the only intention of protecting our country and the citizens within it. I am inspired by his courage and endurance, as well as his ability to openly speak about his hardships. My greatest respect is to Mr. Marcoux, a true hero, and an excellent baker!!!!
